Cross Federation Moderation
Overview
Cross school moderation will give teachers the opportunity to come together in year groups from EYFS to Key Stage 2, to share best practice around assessment. Using the Primary Advantage Fundamentals, teachers will establish which children are on track to achieve their yearly objectives. These sessions will give practitioners the opportunity to share a range of assessment types, look closely at learning and share thinking. Practitioners are expected to bring a cross section of books and assessment evidence to discuss with their colleagues. This session will provoke in depth discussion around assessment, making judgements and responding to the needs of the learners.

TLCs – Workshops
Overview
Teacher Learning Communities will take place at three points throughout the year. They are an opportunity for all teachers across the federation from Early Years to Key Stage 2 to join CPD delivered by their peers and engage with a range of wider school focus.
TLCs will be run by subject leaders and other teachers within the federation. A range of areas will be covered and teachers can choose a different workshop each time.
