EYFS

High-quality bespoke training and support for all staff in the Early Years

Our vision for the early years is based on the premise that every child receives the very best provision, which both inspires and engages them; supporting their development and ensuring they have a solid base of key skills and are ‘school ready’ at the end of the Reception year.

We have a Federation Early Years Leader who works across the federation to support Early Years leaders and practitioners in our 7 schools. Working collaboratively is part of our highly successful strategy and has been critically important in the development of our shared planning and assessment methodology and practice. Interwoven in our practice is the belief that high expectations for both the children and ourselves enable goals to be reached and exceeded. We are enthusiastic, creative and driven. Our practice reflects our depth of knowledge.

Through sharing our experiences we seek to make a positive contribution towards the quality of teaching and learning in the EYFS within our own federation and beyond.

A range of EYFS specific, research-informed, practical training is offered to our EYFS staff throughout the year, as well as leadership development. A flavour of some of our recent or regular training is below.
